Sales Manager (m/f/d) MSP / MSSP

Powerful tasks

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies to acquire new customers and to retain and expand existing customer relationships in the MSP & MSSP area
  • Identifying and approaching potential customers, especially in areas such as private and public cloud or cybersecurity, network monitoring and threat management
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and decision makers to secure long-term business relationships
  • Managing, coaching and developing the sales team. Ensuring that sales targets are met and taking responsibility for the performance of the team
  • Developing and analysing sales KPIs and performance reports to review and adjust the effectiveness of the sales strategy
  • Monitoring market developments, analysing competition and identifying new market opportunities
  • Deep understanding of the cloud and MSSP services offered
  • Work closely with technical teams, product management, marketing and the board to develop customised solutions for our customers

 

Smart prerequisites

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in sales of IT services, ideally in the area of cloud and/or managed security services
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT security solutions and the MSSP industry. Knowledge of the most important security standards and regulations
  • Experience in leading sales teams, ability to motivate and develop employees
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or similar are an advantage
  • A well-developed network of customers and partners in the IT, cloud and IT security sector
  • Strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to recognise long-term opportunities and develop sales strategies based on them
  • Confident behaviour in price negotiations and contract conclusions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both at a technical and management level
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing security environment and respond to new threats and technologies
  • Fluency in German and English is an advantage
