The Munich-based Internet service provider SpaceNet organised a special kind of move for the car dealership Michael Schmidt from the Munich area. The entire company data, amounting to eight terabytes, was transferred from Hamburg to Munich in a weekend operation - not via the data network, however, due to the volume, but on hard drives via the motorway.
